Remember your "WHY"

In the Holiday Challenge group I have going on, we are about a week into it.

It's amazing to me, but not surprising anymore, how quickly people can lose motivation to do the thing they desire to accomplish.

We get excited about something that can transform us.  We know it is good for us.  We know we need it.  We know the benefits.  So why do we lose the motivation and will power to get it done or keep going.  And why does it get lost so quickly on some people?

Over the years I have discovered that if your "why" isn't strong enough, you will not stick to the program.  If you do not KNOW why you are in it and if that why is  weak, motivation doesn't last.



We are about to take you through the most powerful tool you will ever have for long term health... finding out WHY and making it more of a bigger part of you rather than pushed into the back of your mind.  Let's pull it out to the front and make it the tool you will have to get you the success you need.   Grab a piece of paper and a writing utensil and actually write down the answers to the following questions.  

 - Why did you sign up for this program??

– What aspects make you the most excited?

– Personally, what is the Phazes transformation doing for you?

– When you finish this round of the 12 weeks  what will be different for you?

 - Visualize what it looks like to reach your goals you set earlier.  What stands out to you?

- Looking at who you become due to the results of the above answers, what changes for you?  Why was this so important?

Going through your answers, you will notice recurring words or concepts that can be summed up in one word. Extract three to five predominant words and there you have your core values, your WHY.  Share with us your Why answer.  Put this in front of you when things get hard.

My why was summed up into more joy in my life as I was battling deep depression when I started this journey.   I feel amazing when I take better care of me. I am now a better mother and wife and better to myself as well. I feel good when I exercise and eat healthy. I want this because It brings joy to my life and to my family. What is your why?
